Yahoo

The Yahoo company is taking steps to compete with the biggest names on the internet like google.com of facebook.com. It is trying to make its services more user friendly by tunning all of thier products to be easier to use. Yahoo has been getting competion from comapnies like google.com who are the main search engines that people use to navigate the internet. Yahoo needs to find a way to keep its users.

Yahoo is begging to add more basic tools that users enjoy like reworking their email and instant messaging programs. Yahoo still has a problem with its search engine because google still gets more hits than yahoos search engine. Yahoo is trying to make the home page more apealing by adding the stories it considers most important. Yahoo is begging to realize they can't just add first party content so they are willing to add third party content so that they can get more hits on their site.

Yahoo has been trying to make thier service more user friendly and with that tehy are spending more time developing new tools to help its online comunity. Yahoo says that they are doing everything it takes to have users stay on their so site. Yahoo has gotten more hits than ever before on thier site and experts say that it is because of all this new stuff that they are publishing. People are interested in seeing what yahoo is putting thus giving the company more businness and greater succses.

HTML Videos

In these videos I saw a man talk about HTML. He taught me many basic commands that improved my knowledge of html. He talked about tables and even commands that help make your font different. An advantage of screen casting these lessons is being able to show the viewers what you are talking about. Without visual aid people might get lost because they don't know what they are making is supposed to look like. A disadvantage is that learning with a teacher right in front of you would be easier because you can get help right on the spot instead of trying to figure it out yourself. This is what i learned from the videos on youtube.com.
